Common questions before getting in touch

Is there a standard plan or fixed price?
No. Every solution is scoped individually based on how many channels you use, your accounting method, and your reporting needs. We'll give you a clear price after understanding your setup — no surprises.
What if I only sell on one platform?
That's fine — plenty of our clients use a single channel. We'll configure AutoVAT to connect to that platform, pull in your sales and purchases, and produce clean VAT Margin records without any manual entry.
Do I need to know which accounting method I use?
Not necessarily. If you're unsure whether you use individual item or global accounting, just tell us how you currently track stock and we'll work it out with you. We can also advise on which method makes more sense for your business.
How quickly can I be up and running?
Most clients are live within a few days of the initial email. Complexity varies — a single-channel setup with Xero can be ready in 24–48 hours. A multi-channel setup with a custom integration may take a little longer, but we'll set clear expectations upfront.
What if I use a platform you haven't heard of?
We build custom integrations regularly. As long as your platform has an API or can export data in a standard format, we can work with it. Tell us the platform name in your email and we'll confirm feasibility when we reply.
What are your working hours?
We reply to all enquiries within 6 working hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am–6 pm GMT/BST. Emails sent over the weekend will be picked up first thing Monday morning.
